Colombia • Elkin Guzman • Thermal Shock Tabi
This uniquely funky yet clean Tabi comes from El Mirador, a coffee farm located in the village of El Portal, owned by a curious producer named Elkin Guzman. With a family history in coffee spanning more than 70 years, Guzman has dedicated the last 12 years to researching post-harvest processing methods and continuing to innovate harvest processing. El Mirador employs many uncommon processing methods, backed by research and practice, like Maceration, Natural Hydro-Honey, or in this instance, Thermal Shock. Elkin Guzman’s verve for innovation is a quality we aim to cultivate as Harp & Bowl continues to grow. This is the first coffee we’ve sourced through Ally Coffee, an importing company that exists to move coffee forward through sustainable producer and supplier partnerships. Learn more about Ally here.
